Yes I know how to weld just gotta get a welding machine, and it's because I always have this POP-UP in my head about making my own frame and parts without having to worry if the quality of the products will be good or not even though I'll have to see that for myself...and I won't be told "Your stem sucks because it's Eastern!",and if I ever get to make a bike co, the name of it shall be SMIL3 BMX Co.

ummm you still might not want to do it
unless you've been welding for 5+ years i wouldnt recommonend it
not the best idea
have someone else do it

I'm trying to get hold of 4130 Chromoly Specifically, but so far the only metal I've found close is 6061 Aluminum here:
http://www.speedymetals.com/c-8371-round-tube.aspx
I've also found 4140 Alloy, but I don't think it has the strength of 4130 Chromoly:

Is it a TIG welder? If not, DON'T DO IT. Wire feed will NOT work as well. You need jigs and fixtures to weld the parts together, otherwise that stuff is gonna warp and not be straight.

And kelly said they use machines to weld bikes, you are a wrong. They HAND WELD parts and bikes, because people can adjust to conditions, machines can not as easily. PLUS parts are all TIG welded, which as far as I know, they do not have a robotic welder for that, due to how complex it would have to be, and how many sensors etc it would have to have. Even the shitty department store bikes are hand welded, they just do that over in Asia where standards and labor are cheaper.

Now for stems you will need a CNC machine, with all properly sized cutting tools. (Very expensive) Same with sprockets, drivers, and numerous other parts.

I suggest getting as much information from some U.S. companies, like FBM or S&M/FIT and see what they can tell you.
