mongoose has always made pro level bikes. DMC rode for them for years. What you guys don't realize is that Pacific Bike company used to make "wall mart" bikes. There was huffy, and murray, and of course Pacific plus others. In the mid 90's you still had private companies like GT, Redline, Mongoose, Royce Union, Diamondback, Haro, to many to mention. Most of these companies were bought out by Pacific Bike Co. since then so the GT you get or the SE you get, or the Redline, or the Mongoose you get, or the Giant you get, or the "wall mart" bike you get are all made buy the same damn company most of the time. This company gets their frames and forks built by Fuji Frames. You know Fuji, the company that makes cameras and shit, they make frames out in Cali, and some get imported into Cali I'm sure. Together Pacific Bike Co. and Fuji Frames put a RACK of bikes out every year. They make PAPER, and they probably run this site. LOL They are "THE MAN" of bmx and have there hands in everything by now. But I have found that Fuji Frames are usually welded crooked, and it doesn't matter if they will give you a new one or not, because they are all crooked. Quality has been sacrificed to a certain degree because these people make all types of frames and bikes. But if you get one and its fuct up try to get a CASH REFUND, BEFORE you have your bike for a week or so. That means that you have to know what you are looking at when you look over and test a bike. Thank God for small company's. Sorry so long.
