Does anyone listen to metal while riding bmx anymore? Or has everyone went to rap and hip hop? Also, what's up with all the stoner culture in bmx?

The only rap I like is a song called Dance with the Devil by Immortal Technique. It's pretty disturbing. But anyways, I listen to a lot of punk too.

I hate rap/ techno style music.
I'm more of a punk/metal listener but non of this new Shit metal that is coming out.
Sometimes i might listen to "emperor" But it's mainly Megadeth around Peace sells era, some anthrax but I also listen to David Lee Roth, The Living End, Prince, Queen, Trocadero and wolfmother whilst riding.
Can't stand rap in edits to the point where I will either not watch the edit or will just watch with the sound off

I'm not really all that biased tbh, I'll listen to most music, the Immortal technique track is messsssed up! I mean I never really bothered with Music Riding because it was always sociable for Me, so head phones in ignoring everyone didn't seem right lol. I'll be Riding a fair bit on My own in the next couple of months, but annoyingly, Music brings My Blood Glucose Levels down, because I relax! Add that to exercise, well a 30 minute session might last 10 if I'm lucky!

Im more into punk/rock now. I love Hilltop Hoods (aus rap group) and theres a few other rappers im okay with. 99% of the mainstream rap is just plain junk. Metal isn't really my thing but I kinda like All That Remains- if theyre metal enough idk lol.
My friends listen to juicy-j, Kendrick Lamar, drake, etc. I cant stand any of that shit.

Only when I am super pissed do I listen to heavy stuff.
I prefer classic rock, Aerosmith, GNR, Motley Crue, Boston, Queen, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Tom Petty and so on. Also some other calmer tunes lately too.
I actually RARELY listen to headphones when I ride, I prefer to be able to hear others, and any odd noises my bike makes.

I don't really like having earbuds in my ears while I ride because they always fall out, I ride street and I need to hear what's going on around me, and I like to talk to my friends and stuff. But sometimes, when my friends and I stop at a spot, one of us will turn on music on our phones and let it play. Usually just all kinds of different stuff though. MGMT, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odd Future, Cam Meekins, Earl Sweatshirt, Skrillex, Blink 182, Chiddy Bang, and a lot of others.

Metal is great especially when its a song that just tells you to send it. My creation or "Bad OMEN" by megadeth is my go to song when I'm pedaling my ass at something. Other times is "My way by frank Sinatra or something by the rat pack

The whole stoner vibe is sort of like a trend that not many people like. Adam22 sorta started it with his whole OnSomeShit (OSS) company and the use of marijuana in the majority of his videos. Kids see someone successful do something on the internet and they go and do it and represent it. That's how it goes now-a-days unfortunately.

I only listen to certain kinds of rap music, GOOD rap music, not this gay stupid Drake, Lil Wayne, Asap dildo, 2 Chainz, or anything by those guys. They don't make music, they make auditory garbage.
When I ride though it's a mix, I'll listen to nearly anything besides dupstep or country or pop music. My music ranges from Rise Against, Blink 182, The Offspring, then to stuff like Metallica, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, then to stuff like We Came As Romans, Underoath, As I Lay Dying, really anything by any of those and more. So good to ride too but when a good thrash song comes on, I just feel like hauling ass at things haha.

The thing about using drugs is, the smoke and shit your putting in your body is gonna make your stamina go down, and at 250 lbs I already have low enough stamina. My lungs are probably bad enough from 2nd hand smoke. Choices effect you're life forever, why make bad ones?
