How many of you are riding Metal vs Plastic pedals. I switched to plastic years ago (mostly for the convenience of pedal grinds), now I'm on those plastic pedals with removable metal pins and they're pretty nice, though about to go back to straight plastic. Any metal pedal OG's holding strong on here?

Metal is for champs! I rode plastic for a while when I first started because I wanted to be cool. Switched to metals and I'm never going back.

I really like plastics but I plan on getting the Daily Grind PCs. They have metal pins. I kinda wanna try something new and tear up my shins with new material. I've been that metal pedals cut you more than plastics but they hurt less. Is this true?

No, they hurt more. But they make you a tough man!
I ride plastic with metal pins, but i plan to go back to metals after i'm done with these.

I got a shinner at skatepark once and a park rat said "If you had metal pedals, you wouldn't be in as much pain." He sounded really serious too so I was unsure what to believe. I probably should have called BS because he had Perfect 10s and Oil Slick hubs....Eh.

I had medals on my first and second bike, but switched to plastic last year. Partially for the weight (I was a serious weight weenie when I got started. Now I couldn't give 2 fucks about a light bike), but also because medal pedals DO hurt worse than plastic. Plastic pedals with medal pins completely ruin the whole point of plastic pedals for me.
