No. Just save more and get nicer cranks. Dont waste money.
But if you really NEED cranks or something weird, Id say either the easterns or rants. They are all pretty similar. Im sure the easterns are light. but not as strong. And im sure rant are just basically stock 48s cranks. So go with those if you really have to. If you can put buying cranks off for a bit and get something nicer, do that.

Try buying off of here or craigslist your probably not gonna find the best cranks in that price range, and plus if you buy from here youll save yourself some money

im wanting to stay at 100 to 130 because i start school in a week and a half and havent ridden in like 3 weeks.. and that is a problem. i also just posted another thread with other cranks i was thinking about because i forgot i had posted this one =/
i dont want to buy off here or any other second hand site because you never know what youre getting till its here and i also am trying to get them soon... like based on the past time schedules if i order friday ill get them monday...maybe tuesday

another week or two wont kill you and if its brand new second hand its just as good as brand new just alot cheaper, you would have to be pretty stupid to turn down brand new thunderbolts for the same price as crappy cranks

Dans Comp has some Cranks on sale have a look at these...
Odyssey Thunderbolt 175mm Cranks on sale for $139.99 Which is $10 above your budget. They are some of the best if not THE best cranks on the market. I think they're a funky colour but nothing that cant be solved with some spray paint!
Stolen Team 2.5 175mm Crankset $129.99
Stranger Black Mass 175mm Crankset $119.99
United Nash 170mm! or 175mm Crankset $129.99
These are not on sale but are a very reasonable price....
Stolen S.I.C Cranks are pretty interesting they're $74.99, 8 Spline & they're tubular & have a spindle bolt built into the Crank Arm. Have a look at those, they're pretty cool for the price!
Personally if you cannot stretch for the Thunderbolts, i would totally go for the Nash Cranks!

people can say theyre brand new and then ship cranks that have been beaten to hell... i just dont trust secondhand shit... im not here to have people bash me for my lower budget or bash me because i dont like buying shit secondhand...

My 1948's are just fine. Honestly, they are on par with the Profiles I had before them for durability/lack of flex etc.

Get the Stolens, i know a few people that have had the originals since they were released & they are still going strong! They honestly will get the newest versions if anything should go wrong & i'm pretty sure Stolen will warranty them too actually. Or that might be the new 22mm ones can't remember...
