Damn

I still hope to find a 20.666 loosefer frame one of these days

|

9/14/2020 10:02 AM

Man that's a bummer...

One of the few companies that saw the value in making frames over 21.5".

|

9/14/2020 10:10 AM

that sucks but not surprising. way too many companies out there, and i couldn't name a single rider from mutiny off the top of my head besides Randy. I had a Rune frame in 20.25 and honestly, I wish I still had it.

fack off

9/14/2020 10:10 AM

Shows how much you need some mainstream riders and a wider product range.

|

9/14/2020 10:54 AM

sad
|

9/14/2020 12:18 PM

rode a mutiny frame for a while...never knew the actual name of the frame but i loved it and am sad to see them go.

|

9/14/2020 2:16 PM

It a no good.

|

9/14/2020 3:30 PM

Wow, there is a huge demand for bikes and parts now too. Unexpected.

|

9/14/2020 3:33 PM

I guess they should have sponsored a YouTuber? JK, I'm sure this is a multifaceted decision. Bummer to see them go, hands down they had the best graphics in BMX.

|

9/14/2020 4:35 PM

Surprised they made it this long tbh

|

9/14/2020 4:55 PM

Big sad. sad

Demand is high at the moment (mostly for complete bikes), but most BMX companies can't turn things over fast enough to meet it. Factories in Asia were shut down for a while and everyone books orders so far in advance. Definitely a bummer.

What length is it 😏

Definitely bummed to hear this, had a Lucky Strike for a good few years and I loved it. Always loved the media they produced and was a big fan of their team for a long while. Hopefully the relevant parties land on their feet.

"This is our entry level complete bike. Nothing is sealed and the frame is hi-ten steel. The price is $1,200."

A man of culture!

edit: Although on a serious note, welding in Taiwan is a pretty decent job. But people think all of Asia is China and equate it to poor quality.

Umm it literally isn't. Taiwan is its own country (unless you believe the mainland Chinese government).

I'm precisely the wrong person to debate this with.

Yeah I sure they will. Actually surprised they are shutting down to be honest. It's not often when that happens.

They sure have, that's why 99% of companies are there.

|

9/17/2020 2:59 PM

Shitty. One of my favorite companies back in the day. I’ve had 2 Mutiny bars, 3 frames, 2 stems. The mutiny conjurer v3 was the first frame I ever bought brand new. And wanted the new 20.6 comb frame but they never had it in stock when I was buying frames.

I guess this is what happens when everyone just buys off the same 5 boring brands. FBM and mutiny within a year is pretty shit
