My son is in the 6th grade and needs a new bike. He rides to school and around with his friends. They are building a bike track in our town and he has been helping with it so I'm sure he'll be there all the time when it's open.

These are the bikes we've been looking at. They are used but he's 10 so I'm sure it will be fine.

2011 Black eye Park pro RASTA

2011 Fit Eddie 2 ***This one doesn't have brakes so we'd have to buy them* How much is a decent pair is brakes?

2009 Eastern Element

Which one is the best bike?
All three are in the same price range.

Thanks

the Eddie. and down the line, he'll take off the brakes himself, haha.

probably the park pro

trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.
Bike check?

I'd go with the Fit. Are you buying it used from someone? Because they come with brakes new.

He better have a job because he'll be buying his own shoes from that day on.

Yeah we're buying it used. How much are a decent set of brakes.

We were leaning towards the park pro.

get the park pro, it is overall a better bike than the overpriced fit complete.

of course this depends on how much of each bike is still stock

but the tube set on the park pro is definitely better than the eddie

Because I'm dumb. LOL. It was supposed to be a brake, a Sputnic lever, and ODY cable.
