My sprocket wont fit

So i got a new sprocket and i put it on and the chain goes tight and then loose but its not bent and also the sprocket goes up and down when i cycle and it skips like half a peadal help!!!

It didnt come with an adapter and my old sprocket didnt have one too!! help

Well unless the original one is broken, I say put it back on. Savage make cheap parts that aren't very good at all. But that Specialized one looks OK.

The old one is a bit bent but the new one is really strong belive it or not!! So do i need an adapter

Not sure, it says in the title it's a 22 to 19mm adapter which isn't what you want, but the description says it is a 23.8mm/15/16" to 19mm adaptor, which is what you want. I don't think any Sprockets have 22mm bore Holes, so I'd imagine it is for 23.8mm.

tree sprockets have a 22mm bore. or at least the last generation of them did
