This. After our city said no, we continued to ride the plaza here, now no one cares, not even the police.

BUT technically it is still illegal.

Best thing to do is talk to other cities that allow BMX in their parks about damage/repair costs (that is the main concern people bring up), as well as any other issues. Get written statements/testimonies from the parks and rec board and show them to your parks and rec board.

Also parental testimonies help a LOT.
