get me a better pic of the head tube because those cups don't look integrated to me

didn't the Stricker frames have an anchor welded on the rear frame support? I forget the name of that piece.

and all the Stricker frames i've seen has an anchor somewhere.

it could still have been a stricker, the old ones were standard headsets. but it's definitely not looking at that bridge and the integrated clamp. looks like a stock wtp or something

It sort of looks like a wethepeople envy frame, i think.

i just went through all the Stricker frames on BMXmuseum.com and didn't find a single one with a bridge like that.

Alright thanks I agree with trev. It does look exactly like the envy.. If anyone can find any more depth into it thatd be great

Yeah, but it doesn't have removable brakemounts and the dropouts look different, could probably be a older version of a WTP frame, im not too sure.

Im not into wtp very much.. but is this a decent frame?

It's not, the envy uses an integrated headset

that frame isn't worth much more than $25.

it's almost like a 2009 Envy, except even 2009 it has an integrated headset and removable gyro tabs. Pretty sure 2009 was the V1 too.

Shit.. I traded a dk general lee complete with some old harro stuff for this frame and some shitty bars and suposebly odyssey forks and a shadow conspiracy stem.. worth it?

|

7/28/2012 10:01 PM

i wouldn't take anyone's word for it if they don't even know the frame. The General Lee depending on what version was a good frame (i don't know about newer versions, the older version was a good trail frame)

email S&M the serial number. if its a custom it will most likely say so in the dropouts(I'm pretty sure S&M does that to all their custom frames) if its not S&M then check with WTP

I'm almost certain its not a custom S&M. Email WTP the serial number and ask them

|

7/28/2012 10:35 PM

where did you get it from cuz I saw a guy trying to sell a custom stricker frame on craigslist and he said he had it custom made and when I asked him about the specs their was a lot of "um I think its this" and "I dont know" kind of bullshit so I backed out I mean if you have a frame custom made how do you not know anything about it? He said it was a 20.7 and had a shitty blue paint job

|

7/28/2012 10:53 PM

when they said "custom" they probably meant signature frame...pro signature frame models are pretty damn close to the custom ones made for the pro's.
