I have kink pillar cranks that started creaking so i took the left crank off and put a crap ton of grease on it put it back on and the creaking stopped 1 week later and it starts creaking it has to be the right side creaking now but i thought it was a 2 piece crank. danscomp says they are a 2.5 piece crank what does that mean. dans comp also sells somethink called a kink pillar installation tool do i need this to fix the creaking.

It could also be your bottom bracket....

I don't crash, I do random gravity checks...

2.5 piece cranks are kind of in between 2 piece and 3 piece. The side that isn't held on by a bolt (the right) isn't welded on, it still has splines. The compression on that arm comes from tightening the bolt on the left side. Some grease will help, but it sounds like your bolt is bottoming out, therefore not putting enough pressure on the crank arms to hold everything tight. Add another spacer (either side, but check your chainline), and tighten the bolt again. One spacer should be enough, it's trial and error to get it correct though.
Also, make sure your pedal threads are greased, and tightened properly
