Need Help Mailing Wheel To Danscomp

Hey guys my eclat blind hub doesn't engage properly and i an using rubberbands now due to popping all the springs so i called danscomp and they want me to send them wheel to be inspected and i dont really have alot money for that or even know how to ship wheel so what would be cheapest best way to ship to them and do they just look at the wheel or will they fix and replace things like say i needed new axle would they replace it or charge me to replace it and final question is will they charge me to send it back and how long does this whole process usually take because the weathers too nice to not ride for long time thanks

If they just want the hub take your wheel apart before you ship. Call them about the other stuff.

I dont want to do that actually my wheel is laced really good and i definitely cant afford re lacing it

put wheel in box, tape up box, take box to ups, give ups money and they ship the wheel

Ask for them to send you an empty box with a return label. They'll do it.

Then they must not feel like it enough. Try to get a real bike shop maybe? Like ask Empire if they can help if you have none nearby.

Depends on weight and size of box. Could be less.

Regardless, I think you should just do it. The longer you wait, the less riding time you get. See if a buddy has a spare wheel for you to run for a bit.

But yea, box it up and take it to the ups store, if not there, a post office. Failing those, go to UPS.com with box size and weight with wheel in it, print a shipping label (gotta pay for it) and have them come get it and you then just gotta wait.
