Hey Guys,
Im building a bmx with some extra parts that I have I don't have cranks and was wondering what a good set of cranks are. My price range is between $100 - $200. Im going to be using this bike for street/park riding so I need a set of cranks that are strong and can be abused.
Thanks.

Thunderbolts. Strongest cranks you can buy. Lifetime warranty. Superior interface. What more can you want?

Eclat Tibia. The new Fiend cranks look good too.

|

Éclat tibia, odyssey thunderbolts, stolen team (only stolen part I'd ride really).
Primos.
Éclat Tibias are by far the best tho.

Easier to install, no wobble ever, no chance of stripping splines out (Stronger)... Typically I'd write something quite a bit longer but it's Christmas eve and I'm not feeling it lol.

Either Odyssey because they seem to be great. or Stolen teams. Lifetime warranty. The arms are arguably the strongest arms out and the only downfall of them is the spindle but they now have 22 mm spindles so that even takes care of most of the issues with the spindle.

I have considered all of your suggestions and I have seen that profiles are a good brank for cranks.
I was looking at the Profile GDH's and was wondering if they are good.

The reason I am pushing away from the thunderbolts is because I currently have a 19mm mid bb and the thunderbolts only come in 22mm. If I buy a 22mm bb kit will it fit?

|

12/25/2013 8:48 AM

Not to mention that they only come in metallic silver and red with gold flake.

|

12/25/2013 8:52 AM

Yeah if you buy a 22mm bb they'll fit and if you dont like the colors just buy some spray paint and they can be any color you want

|

12/25/2013 10:08 AM
