Hey I'm fairly new to this site and BMX and I was wondering what a good shoe and plastic pedal combo would be. I have emerica westgates and some kink hemlock pedals. I slip a lot so I was just wondering what you guys would have to recommend.

I run Twisteds and the Etnies Brake shoe (it is too low of a shoe for my liking, but grips well)

I second this...metal pedals for sure! They last 50738263759593 times longer and will grip any damn shoe you have...so what if you get a couple shinners, it's all part of bmx.
