I bought my daughter a MuddyFox bmx for her birthday (2moro) she has just gone to bed so we started to assemble it and the front wheel doesn't fit on!!

The wheel seems too big for the fork dropouts!!

What are we doing wrong?

Sounds weird but flip the tire around

Are the two cone nuts tightened all the way onto the axle?

Post a photo of the problem so we can assess it.

Is the axle to fat for the dropouts, or are the fork legs to narrow to squeeze it in? Pics would help.

Thats quite odd. Ive never seen this happen before in a factory complete.

That is a manufacturer defect. Should be covered under warranty. Contact whoever you got it from first. Unless you want to try and pry the legs apart a little, but that seems to far to even try stretching it.
