I'm looking at a new frame here soon and since I pretty much only ride trails do these specs look good? They're custom...I pulled the bb height out my ass so im not sure if that'll stay. This will be pretty much be a strictly trails only frame

Looks sweet. Id personally get a lower stand over for trails so you can get whips and cans a bit easier. 8.25-8.5 would sound about right imo.

Ok thanks for the input! I'll probably lower it a little but I hate tailwhips and dont do cans unless im at a jam or something. I'm thinking maybe 8.6

Hmmm i just looked up the steadfast, credence, and villij frame's specs. They're all pretty similar but there are differences

9-9.5" standover. Anything lower is shit. If you can't can or whip with a 9.5" standover, you won't be able to can or whip with a 8.25" standover. Plus higher standover will make a frame stronger.

Yeah i was looking at other frames specs and none that I would consider had lower than 9". But everything else seems legit to ya'll? Im still undecided on a TT length. Right now mine is 20.75..I'm thinking maybe that or 21

For a trail frame I recommend you a longer frame like 21" or 21.25" (but may it's too big for you ? even if the difference is really tiny, how tall are you ?).
And I think the Terrible one Ruben, could be your perfect frame in the 21.25 version (you can see all the specs here , i know it's a french website, but it's good to check the specs).

That geo's just about perfect. I'd go with a 21" TT personally and change the CS length to 13.5-14"

For trails you're gonna wanna go with a top tube that's about 0.25" longer than you would normally ride. I normally ride 20.75" but my Steadfast is 21" and I love it.

Im 5'8" and a 20.75 feels kinda short. I think my current specs and 21" TT will be perfect. Im stoked!

Oh yeah i definitely will. Im debating on getting it done now or wait till I cant ride in febuary. Im going to marines bootcamp in feb so im thinking about having it made while i cant ride. But im not sure if i can wait that long
