They are both SOLID Frames, cant go wrong with either TBH.. They both have pretty similar Geometry actually.
75 Degree Head Tube Angle
71 Degree Seat Tube Angle
The Federal has a .1" Higher Bottom Bracket
The BSD has .2" Shorter Chain Stays
And the BSD has a .2" Higher Stand Over Height.
Both have Duel Gussets
Both are Totally Brakeless
Both have Straight Gauge Front Triangles
Both have Tapered Seat & Chain Stays
Both have Integrated Seat Clamps, Head Tubes & Mid BBs
Both have Massive Tyre Clearance
There are a few deciding factors, The Federal has a shorter 20" Top Tube option & the BSD has a longer 21.1" Top Tube option. Then i guess it comes down to who are your favourite company? I mean personally i would have a hard time choosing between then two! I own pretty much every piece of clothing Dub make haha BUT... BSD are awesome, Grant the owner is a great guy & so are the vast majority of the Team. Then the last thing which is pretty minor but i guess could seal the deal, the colours... The Dub is a pretty boring Flat Black & the BSD comes in three NICE colours. Trans Black, Trans Red & they have replaced the Flat Raw with a SWEET Gloss Raw Clear Coat.
Personally i would go with the BSD.
