Hey I was looking for some advice, I currently have whatever fork and front wheel is in the complete fit bf1 and was thinking about buying new ones... I was wondering what fork I should buy ? I ride a lot of street. I was looking at the federal drop v2 fork because it looks good I'm not really sure about what offset size I should get or if it will even fit on my bike. Now on to the wheel... My front wheel is a single wall wheel so it continues to untrue and I can't find hub gaurds for it since it is off a complete I was looking to get the cinema ZX front wheel has any one ridden it ? Is it a good wheel ? Thanks in advance for the advice. smile

I'm not very good with wheels, but I have the Odyssey R32 Fork, and it's awesome! I know riders like Chase Hawk ride them, and quality is great. Nothing has broken from my park/street riding and its been about a year for me now. I fully recommend them! Hope I helped & good luck with your setup!

No problem! Regarding offset forks, I know that Odyssey makes other forks with offset, but it really is personal preference. With an offset, the bike becomes more "under your body" making it easier to do stuff like nose manuals, hang fives, and other stuff involving front wheel balance. That's why it's more useful for flatland and maybe street. Offset makes the bike feel more responsive, but maybe even a little TOO responsive, that's why many park/dirt/street riders use no offset.

The Odyssey R-Series forks come in two offsets, 25mm and 32mm, hence R25 and R32.

Offset refers to how far forward your front wheel is from your frame.

Bringing your wheel in closer will make it feel more responsive, turning will be twitchier and front wheel tricks will be easier to get in to. If you want this, get the R25.

The R32 will have a traditional feel, is more stable at high speed and is less likely to toss you over the bars.

So the "r series fork" is the r 32 if I buy it in 32 mm offset and if I buy it in 25mm offset it's the e 25 ..... Okay thanks I really like the feel of my bike I assume my stock offset is 32mm

just know that with a steeper offset, although its easier to get into nose based tricks, its harder to stay in them, just like with chainstay length. But yeah, r series forks wont let you down, and i ran the v1 of the primo hub for ages and it always ran smooth. The alloy guards got deformed onto the shell though, but that wont happen with the v2 due to the plastic guards.

I used to ride the zx but changed my color scheme so it's a spare wheel now. I never had a single problem with it though. I'm riding the drop v2 currently and it has had zero issues. It is a heavier fork than a lot on the market but I don't care about weight. I got the drop v2 cause the dropouts seem thicker than most and it's been holding up well
