So Im actually the dad of 3 small boys. 4,5,6 yr old. My middle one is extremely interested in this since a track opened in our town. He will be the first to start but the other two will shortly follow I imagine.

I'm very confused on even where to start. The shop that has the track has haro and dk but both are pretty expensive. I don't mind spending the money but don't want to drop $500 on a bike for it never to be used for its intended purpose.

I've looked on Craigslist but am having a hard time telling what will work for them. I think he would need a mini but very very few listings has that in the description. Can u help get use started? Thx

The used ones don't have any specifics on the in regards the size so it makes it difficult. Any good websites out there to get guarded up?

Danscomp, Albes, empire are all good choices. Even try a local bike shop

And racing is always a good start. I ride a lot of tech street with some park here and there and my roots are in racing. It's how I got my bike control
