Well, today I got the green light for a promotion to become a driver for our company and will be living in Northern California in 6-8 weeks. Pretty excited about it since the pay is really good, especially for somebody my age and the fact it's another opportunity to keep exploring the country. Solid proof that working hard everyday really does pay off. Anyways, I'll be in the Pittsburg area, about 45min from San Francisco. Anybody remotely close to there? I want to meet some people off vital!

Thats whats up, the bay is the shit ressler. depending what youre into, you wont find anywhere else like it. To be honest though, I would look into oakland or berkeley (maybe something like el cerrito) to really live/check out the bay. The suburb areas in the far east bay such as pittsburgh, or pleasanton whatever kinda suck to be honest. Super white bread, suburban middle america, and conservative without any of the fun parts of living in the bay. I suppose you could always drive places, but if you have the chance to experience a whole new feel of a city, which you do, id really recommend oakland or berkeley. Sorry for the long response, but i fuckin love the bay with all my heart. 510 all day!

also nyquist lives in san jose which is the complete opposite side of the bay

Haha well I'm restricted to the Pittsburg area because of work, but I travel a shitload and always drive to new parks/places on my days off. I also got a buddy down in San Diego I wanna visit at some point. Never been to Cali and always wanted to live there as a kid man! How are the winters there?!

So i was nervous about moving there because of weather but after looking at the temps it on average never drops below 40. Which in missouri is teeshirt weather lol so i am even more excited! and from the looks of it never gets above 70....

dude u gotta hit the local bike shops meet some cool cats and then your good. everybody that rides in the bay rides all over the bay theres parks everywhere street everywhere security dont give a fuck.Ur gonna have to learn the bart train cuz pittsburg bart train can take u all the way to certain valleys. im from the eastbay near oakland, you see all kinds of pros in the city at parks. you wont wana leave. oh yea and theres bike parties too!
