That's sick as fuck . Kinda like with my Bonesaw having pinched dropouts , emailed 1664 and they said I'm free to file and saw a portion off no worries and keep warranty , pretty sick .

I would expect this kind of service from a warranty, especially within 6 months of purchasing the product. The next day delivery is what really shines IMO. That's pretty rare without really harping on them. I would like to see how they respond to a claim for something outside the warranty period. To me, that is the true test of a company's pr.

That and the fact that they set it up without needing it in hand or photos from what we were told.

Some brands dominate, others don't. Honestly the warranty dept is where they should have the best employees, because a lot of the younger kids have a heated temper and will throw a tantrum just because they aren't getting what they want.

They replaced the cracked faceplate of my OG frontload stem with one that had "paint defects" from factory with no hassle at all,I just told them it was out of warranty but I was a long time buyer.

Odyssey is the best when it comes to quality of service and parts.

After they already said they'd warranty it for me.

Yeah their warranty is awesome, I've dealt with them with my Sunday parts before since they both use the same warranty department (Obviously)

The emails are usually overlooked or slow at times, but each time I've called them instead I've gotten things sorted out within minutes. Logan's a good dude, even upgraded my forks for free before because they took too long to get my replacements sent out (I had Morning 2.1 forks and he bumped me up to the Octaves)

They rule.

Honestly, I wasn't even trying to get a warranty. I just called the main number asking to speak to someone about my hub bolt backing out on me everyday, I couldn't figure it out. Got transferred to the warranty department, and they hooked me up with new parts. They said it could be your bolts or axel. So we'll warranty it and send you new bolt and an axel.

I'm not trying to split straws here, but most new products (usually within a year) come with a manufacturers warranty. He wasn't giving you a warranty (unless he offered you something outside the manufacturers default warranty), he was honoring the products existing warranty.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I think they did what they should have. Where they went above and beyond IMO is the expedited shipping. That's kind of a rare thing, in my experience anyway.

I took a similar approach with my Lifeproof cell phone case. I just wanted to know if there was a way to fix a minor annoyance, and they just ended up sending me a new case.

There's no parade to be rained on, this was my first call ever to odessey. They did what they did, I was impressed so I made a post.

Bottom line: they provided great customer service. I had a problem and they fixed it without even trying to cut corners. I wasn't even told to go through a local bike shop. So I gave em a thumbs up.

Generally content customers don't comment, because there content. I'm more likely to bitch about shitty customer service then good customer service. Since this was my first experience with odessey, I said something.

Was I a little surprised with how they handled my question? YUP, i was.

It's a lot better then having a cracked frame asking for the warranty, providing photo's, reciept and then being told to take it to an authorized dealer who doesn't want to look at the frame because it wasn't their sale, then try to charge me for the "inspection" (yup, it's cracked).

Hassle vs. no hassle. they didn't go above and beyond, it was previous experiences of below standard service that caused me to make a post about good quality customer service.

Apparently, alot of people agree with me as well. It seems to be a normal thing for them. Seeing this type of quality makes me smile. I like it when companies I use well, care.

Sure thing. It's sad when companies act like they don't need their customers. I would imagine the difficulty in honoring warranties from a bike product being that it seems many users abuse their products. I see a lot of videos of people throwing their bikes and doing stuff that the bike/parts are not made for.
