I just got my Clutch freecoaster today, and I was wondering if its normal for it to stick a tiny bit after engaging (when I stop pedaling)
I can feel it in my cranks and I can hear a small click. is this just the coaster breaking in or breaking out? Do I need to grease it out of the box?

It's the splines of the clutch wearing in ( good thing ) , should go away . If not mess with it with grease or what not

I'd keep riding it and break it in.

My Primo did this first time I rode it. Went away after about an hour.

Try just pedaling around for a bit. Engage and disengage it often while doing so, I imagine this will aid in wearing it in.

also, i rode mine A LOT in the first few days so i "broke it in" pretty fast. depending on how often you ride, obviously it may take longer than that.

Pedal a lot and then fakie a lot . It's like a grip , give it time to feel good before bad reviews

The above responses are pretty spot on. With any hub using this kind of engagement there is always a little bedding in period. We do have an extra machining step to try to reduce this but it can still be noticable for the first few rides.

One thing you can do to help reduce this is add some more grease through the adjustment hole. Just squirt or push in normal grease and work the mechanism back and forth a bit to help it spread down into the mechanism.

I hope this helps
