So I'm debating which cranks to get. Odyssey Thunderbolts or Profile Columns?
Do they each have lifetime warranty?
I've never ran Spline drive so does anyone know if its worth it or not?
Do you have any of these? Have any of these ever bent or snapped on you?
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Odyssey Thunderbolts are amazing, they are strong and they have a lifetime warranty. The Columns are to new for anyone to really know how well they hold up, but they seem much better than the standard Profile Cranks. I have no idea about the warranty on them. So basically, the Thunderbolts are great Cranks, but the Columns possibly are as well.

I'd go Odyssey, aside Mini's, I kinda don't like Profile.

Taiwanese Factories have many facilities to use technologies that aren't available in the US, and the people in Taiwan that make Bike Parts are NOT completely untrained sweatshop workers. They are just as good as workers from the US, just they get paid less.

I run Twombolts & i love the wedge system. The Profiles do look great but the splines :/ eh, pain in the ass! 10mm bolts are a pain in the ass too!! Spline drive, never ran it but that seems like a huge pain in the ass to sort out too!! Thunderbolts fo'sure!

Thunderbolts......easy installation and removal.......a huge choice of chainwheels for them.........lifetime warranty.........they look great and are light a fuck.

i hate my thunderbolts they flex to much. also bent, i bought brand new christmas time ive had stock cracks not bend lol. other than that i guess good cranks i dont like i woul rather have profiles

and the other bad thing is no matter how much you crank down the bolt it usually comes loose and crank wobbles... annoying but nothing to bad. yes mine do flex idk why haha and i did bend them a little not noticable but you can see they are bent looking at them

idk lol i fucked them up sometime within this month. ive been doing 7 stairs fly boxes 360 gaps street grinding. idk haha but i fucked em up and bent... they get loose occasionally tho annoying especially on long rides with no tools
