Twisteds suck. They wore down completely in a month and i don't even slide them on grinds. I haven't had either of the others but i would get hamiltons.
I love my bike but i hate myself

I love twisteds.
Not too grippy, but grippy enough.
Really strong spindles. Only pedal spindles I haven't bent.
Cheap as shit
I'm about to get some twisteds today so ill let you know how they are for me.

You must be hitting them on stuff because mine are more than 4 years old without issues.

I never try pedal slides and i don't put my pedals down when i grind. They wore down from my feet moving around on my pedals. Same thing happened to all my friends that have used them. Cheap but really grippy pedals are stolen thermalites with the metal pins. I liked those ones.

i rode twisted pc's on my friend's bike. didnt like them, the odd top shape felt smaller then my dk plastic pedals, and i couldnt catch them as well, grip was decent. but i felt like the dk plastic pedals where more supportive.
i am currently running Shadow Ravanger plastic pedals. they are grippy as HELL they do love a bit more when they kiss ya, but thats excepted with the texture. they spin pretty well, and are lighter then my dk plastic pedals...
after comparing both with dk plastic pedals*which are your basic pedal* I would Reccomend the Ravangers, I like them allot.

Plastics...
Well i like my Twisteds, but i replace them fairly often because they don't actually last too long. I pedal slide though. I actually don't care about grip too much as long as they stick enough that i don't fall off all the time, i don't care. I liked my Trailmixes too. JCPCs would grip really well too. Kink Senec pedals are sick too!! But i just ordered those tree plastic pedals. I'll let everyone know how those are. I like the low profile pedals. For me, as long as the pedals aren't super small like the eclat surges, i don't care. And the Eclat PLazas are actually too big for my taste. They are okay sometimes, depending on the shoes i have actually. Vans they feel like shit but Nikes actually are better on them.
I like Twisteds, cheap as shit, not too grippy, not too slippy. Just right if you ask me. Fit my feet nicely. Thermalite pedals are okay, not my favorites tho, i had bearing issues with every pair i got. They all came loose and ratted. The best feeling pedals i have had are definitely the Odyssey ones overall, i have had all the odyssey pedals they make (except the sealed trailmixes, which aren't actually necessary).
Tree Pedal review coming soon haha

Uhhh, spend extra money and get the oddy trail mix pedals. Will be the last pedals you will need to buy
If we are going cheap, ravengers are the best out of those three, twisted pins get rounded really quick and it's easy to catch the edge of the pedal after a trick that involves putting your foot back on the pedals.
I ride to stay on two wheels and have fun!
BIKE CHECK
Out of every pedal that exists in the BMX world I've decided that Kink Senecs are the best you can get.
Edited Date/Time:
Not sure if you're talking PC's or metal (aluminum), because each of these have plastic and metal versions. Honestly, my first and only go with PC pedals were the Odyssey Twisted PC's and I broke them my first drop (180 down a 10 stair) after a couple of days. Completely annihilated. No say on the AL version.
The Animal's I've ridden (in AL) and loved them, lasted me a year. The spindles bent a bit, but I'm a light-weight rider who like gaps and drops. Only reason I replaced was because I used to get a fully new ride every year and I like full part set ups when I get a new ride and went with Demolition that year. I gave them to a kid 4 years ago and they're still in use, getting passed on down the line.
Never ridden the Ravagers, but was seriously considering (in AL) for my new ride this year before I decided to stay with Éclat and Tree (with some GSport thrown in). If you're considering AL pedals, I highly recommend the Éclat Slash. As with the rest of the replies, just my opinion.

You must have grip tape or sand or something on your shoes. Again, I have 4 years without issue and pins are still good. I have had like 5 pairs of shoes on these pedals, they look like they are a couple weeks old.

Same here. And Adios, and Nikes, and 2 sets of Osiris shoes. Weird.
