HOW ON EARTH is this a serious question? Why on earth are you asking people you've never met or probably will never meet for advice on what to do with your life? You want a scooter go pick a damn scooter up, start making your own decisions. Because you and I both know the answers your going to get on here asking a question like that.

That's the problem... You can't comprehend what your asking so you have no idea how to answer it. Instead you come on here and ask other people to answer shit for you... where does that logic come from?

Pretty sure it won't work, you need to practice bmx riding to get good at it.

to do a dull thing with style

Pat king rode for Mosh back in like 2002 when he was like 12.

Height doesn't matter. Ryan Nyquist is like 5 foot 6.

Josh Harrington is like 6 foot 4.

Both shred.

I think I would rather be short than tall when it comes to bmx honestly. Being tall almost requires a long, unresponsive frame, a raised seat which gets in the way, big ass bars which also take away responsiveness, and other shit. Not to mention a bike built like this will be a few pounds heavier which can make a difference in some cases. So basically, being tall gives you

heavier bike
heavier person
less responsive bike

Im 6'1" and hate being this big when I ride

All I have to say to you is quit your bitching and go ride the bike mommy bought for you. Nobody gets on a bike and starts doing flip whips. Practice makes perfect. If youre not having fun on your bike and would find scooters more fun, then follow that path regardless of what people think of you.

Being tall cancels all those factors out as it is easier to do spins etc when you're taller, at least it is for me anyway.

alright chris i had a scooter to til i snapped it

what is going to happen is you will learn whips 3s bars in about 2 weeks ( i learned trucks in like a month )
you will then self film yourself and see had ragingly homosexual u look on a scooter and then laught about it
you will loose all repsect for scooting in general because you will see how little practice and time it takes ,and then not care about the scooter and treat it like shit
you will pick up your bike and start riding again

|

12/10/2013 12:05 PM

I knew I shouldn't have looked in here.

|

12/10/2013 12:47 PM

Scootering will not make you magically better at BMX.

You have been riding what, a month?

Don't expect instant results.

BMX takes hard work, dedication, sweat, blood and even some tears to get good at. You cannot expect to get a bike and be doing whips off rails in ten minutes.

Just keep riding SickDude. Youll be fine. Just keep trying new stuff. Dont focus on big new tricks. Just keep doing what you can and eventually youll be better. Scootering wont do anything for you really.
