I live in a place where the number of people that do drugs is high (no pun intended.) Myself, I've never smoked weed or anything. I don't think weed is that bad but because it is illegal where I live and it is very frowned upon by much of the general population, I'm not interested in it. I think there's so many other things that I could do with my time besides sit around, get high, eat junk food, and watch Adventure Time. It just don't seem like the kinda thing that I could really get into. My guess is marijuana will be legal everywhere in the US in the next 5 years though. I still probably won't do it. It just seems like something that's more for teenagers and I'll be 20 in 5 years so I probably won't do it. I think it's pretty pathetic when people who are over the age of like 18 or 19 still smoke pot! It's not good when you're younger but once you're older, it's time to grow up.

Weed isn't just to get high anymore, you've all seen how beneficial weed is as far as medical purposes. I'm willing to bet the ones who are against it are on a few medications to help them get through their daily lives, ones that they could take and easily overdose on...guess what, you can't overdose on weed and for some people weed is more beneficial than any shitty medication that the government wants to shove down your throat.

I don't like it, don't agree with it, and full on against it; however i can't deny the fact that there could be medical uses for it, but only for extreme cases, no public use, only for extreme cases as given permission by the hospital and it must be administered there. For those who want it legalized, speaking here in the U.S. unless it's planned on having it banned on the same bill as weed is passed, i believe using alcohol as an argument point is invalid. If weed is safer than alcohol, then why not fix the problem and put in the "legalization bill" to have alcohol banned while weed is legalized, same for cigarettes, since over time use doesn't do anything to the body. 'Might as well kill two birds with one stone.'

My mom had a cousin who died from a cocaine overdose, went to go wake him up in the morning blood all over his face.

I want to thank you for your concern for the U.S. government, though it may not be the case, however i believe that there are good people there but with all this corruption going back and forth, its hard to see them. Understandably this can be argued, but that's an argument that can be talked about later. I believe there are people that go in for the right reasons and virtues, however fear could possibly play a factor in it. Sorry for going off topic here, i just have growing concern for my country.

Weed is definitely not for young people, i am going 17 in a few months right now, at my age, not many people somkes weed, but i know that in 19+ people is more common. EVen my old ltierature teacher smoked weed at 21. My friends sister that get amazing grades smoke weed. Theres nothing wrong in it. You can like it or cant, but dont say that it is for kids cause it isnt.
