Hi all,
I’ve just finished my new build, it’s a Federal Lacey frame & forks. I was planning on ‘rawing’ It but I bought rubbish paint stripper and it just made a mess so I got a friend to media blast it at his work. When I got the frame back from him (the forks had already been sanded) I decided to give it a coat of matte lacquer, I can’t of cleaned the frame well enough and it went a type of opaque bronze colour which luckily I really like! What I want opinions on is, I got some Federal frame decals, I’ve put emblem on the steerer tube and a little emblem on the top of the seat tube. Do you think I should put Federal decals on the down tube etc? I know it’s only vanity but I want it to look good. Cheers Gaz

I think you should put them where ever you like them best and not worry if people like them or not. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

Personally, I think it would look better with non. But, I'd also be tempted to cut up the federal sticker and change it to feral

If they are black like on the forks I think it will give it that US ARMY look. I like that color man. Came out great!

I think just the emblem on the head tube looks legit; minimalist but awesome.

Just the head tube will do fine.

Also, there's not enough pegs. And not enough gyros.

Cheers guys! I’m leaning towards leaving as is I think, as for pegs and gyro I’ve still got my evo2 and gyro to fit, I’m just giving brakeless a go to see how I like it and I’m keeping my eye out for some plastic pegs to give a try instead of my usual metal ones

That is a really nice bike, get the decals on, I think it will finish it. But it's your bike so do what you want!

If I could go a tenth as high as Larry Edgar goes, then I would still be blasting super high.
