The donnasqueak tires are dope man! I've been riding them for a while now, when you first get them they may seem the slightest bit slick, you just need to wear them in, as you do for a lot of tires. I currently ride with 80 psi in both front and back as I mainly ride street and I love em. Happy shredding man haha.

Yea they grip like crazy at 110, I just don't tend to ride with that much psi.

i usually do. my park flows from street to vert so it only makes sense.
but since they are bigger tires, what do you recommend so i dont fuck them up?
i dont know what to expect with these bigger tires nowadays.
i've never rode these new wide tires. last time i even rode a bike the biggest size was 2.25

Probably 90-100 hell even 110 if it feels good to you. Thick tires like those ride great at higher psi. I have the 2.25's and they're pretty wide, I usually ride thicker but I wasn't for sure if the donnasqueaks would fit my forks, I know now they would have and I will probably buy another pair, size 2.40 and shred the streets hardcore with em haha. I will prob ride mine 95 when I get the 2.40's

what would you recommend?
it was either that, or the cult half-link.
i prefer a half-link since they're suppose to be stronger, but i'll consider a beast ass full-link.
i have 30 days til my danscomp reward points kick in so i have all the time in the world to decide.

alright sounds good man. thanks for the advice bro! i really do appreciate it.
yeah, shred those streets man. burn some rubber!! haha! let me know if you have any problems with them.

i'm going to add a thick layer of duct tape on the inside of the tire and my rim once i get them tho.
that's something i've always done with my wheels. youd be amazed what duct tape does lol

Halflinks are only stronger in the sense of getting hit in a grind. Other than that, it's a horrible idea. A 410h is stronger and cheaper. And it will take impact just as well.

And ohian has said before, the vent is made put of 6061 aluminum. A bad thing for a sprocket and stupid for a guard sprocket. Try and find something made of 7075 aluminum if you can. Like the Odyssey LaGaurdia.

Well, I grind a lot. Disaster grinds, crank arm grinds, luckys, unluckys, shit like that. That's why I prefer a half-link. I have two brand new spare silver 410H's I won from a contest 4 years ago haha

Too late now. If worst comes to worst, I still have my Odyssey MDS Sprocket in 28t with double sided guards.

Half links are the fucking stupidest chain design ive ever seen no idea why they are a thing

They are not stronger, at all. by design they are actually significantly weaker

Well, I've snapped 2 KMC 410H's in my lifetime.
I've had one Shadow Interlock half-link and rode it for 2 years without any troubles besides it not being able to fit the Odyssey MDS sprocket properly.
I'm an abusive rider too, and it held up. I still have it, but I'm better off buying a new chain.
To be honest, we don't know which one is proven stronger by fact. Everybody always says one thing or the other, so it's hard to come to a solid decision.
I'm looking at some of the chains on Empirebmx.com.
Does anybody recommend a certain chain over the Shadow Interlock?
Something for an abusive, just-getting-back-into-bmx street rider....?
I do a lot of grinds where the chain takes a beating, so I need a strong, durable chain that will last a decent time period. Thanks.

I'll probably end up buying another half-link anyways, but I'm willing to try something different.

Hollow Odyssey Keychain. Been on mine for 7 months with no problems. Insanely strong, light, super easy to work on, and it's unique. The hollow version is stronger than the solid version.

They're fucking amazing bro. They come in smaller sizes though.
Any Maxxis tires in general are great. They just make quality ass tires bro. You get what you pay for when it comes to Maxxis.
I just wouldn't recommend their folding tires. I wouldn't recommend any folding tires for that matter.

Sounds like sex. Federal is dope as fuck. I'm digging the new colourway with the raw/red churchill but the Ty Morrow blue is my favourite. You definately like him , should have gotten his tires too ! Personally the sprocket would be better in 28t but thats just me , it looks amazing though. All the parts are on point , and I've seen some in person and they're amazing.

You'll like it.

My old Ty Morrow in blue bike from the good ol' days wink I've always been a huge Federal junkie, even before Stevie was on the team.

Yeah, I'm glad I got the parts I did. Clean, stylish, reliable.
I'm losing sleep over how excited I am to get my parts, but I won't be able to buy wheels, pegs, hub guards, and a chain for another 30 days lol
Like I said, if worst comes to worst I have an Odyssey MDS 28t sprocket with double sided guards.
