Just go for any tire with a smooth or unbroken middle tread. You are the engine and power source for the bike, the person riding it determines speed. The way you turn, carve, and manipulate the bike leads to speed, not 100% dependent on a tire. Also, consider gear ratios, that changes a lot of things.

fit faf 2.25 holds 125 psi for months.
try 30t sprocket
edit* do we apply physics here?

The demo momentum has a smooth simple tread. It is very grippy, can hold high PSI, but one big catch is that the rubber compound is super soft. This means that is easily get cut when riding street (bits of glass, thorns, sharp rocks, etc.). The soft compound makes it ultra grippy though, so it is a trade off. Great tires for primarily riding park. Plus, they are very light (I believe one of the lightest non-folding tires). Being that they are light, they are lightning quick.

As said above, other important factors for speed are tire width (skinner = faster)
Gear ratio, (higher means higher tip speed)
Wheel bearings, etc.

This. Don't sleep on odysey path pros smooth center line, really good rolling resistance performance
