I disagree with this because you are comparing apples to oranges here.
Street is full of objects NOT DESIGNED OR MADE for riding, so that means rails are not built as sturdy, ledges chip faster causing falls, the other sides of obsatcles could be LOADED with sharp objects and other things, park is typically slipperier which more often means sliding out rather than catching and bending a body part the wrong way. I know a TON of riders who never get hurt on park but always get blasted on street.
Now mentioning Kyle Baldock is kind of a loaded way to show your argument, because of the type of tricks he does. TONS of flips and whips etc. This is an uneven argument.
Street riders rarely do more than a spin, whip, barspin or grind. Sure some take large drops into account, BUT AGAIN, TOTALLY DIFFERENT LEVEL OF TRICKS.
To everyone:
I've said this a ton of times. WHAT DOES IT MATTER? Honestly if someone is on a bike and having fun, who the hell are you kids to judge? People are different, and that's completely ok. To all that judge based on that preference, just stop it. Do you bash people for wearing a different color shirt? Cutting their hair different? Liking a different band? When will this ignorant shit stop?
This is what I hate about BMX. It has become SO divided for stupid reasons, and 99% of the riders claim they don't care, but a week later the site is LOADED with comments against other riding styles.
