I would say ignorant kids. Cockyness. Assholes. People who think the ONLY option for riding is what they like (aka "street 4 lyfe evreetin els sux"), The fact that different setups can DIVIDE our sport so much, the fact that it has become a fashion show, the fact that everyone bashes whatever is different from them, the lack of respect shown to riders, spot owners, spots and BMX in general, the overglorification of drug and alcohol use in BMX, the fact that Rasta colorway is annoyingly popular (most people associate it with weed).

Also the fact that kids nowadays will roll up to you or look at pics of your bike and ask if they can buy something OFF OF IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE. There is a local kid who saw a pic of my coaster on Instagram and asked how much I want for it. I never said it was for sale. I actually said something like "Gonna try my freecoaster for a while, see if I like it".

I'm getting old, but when I started riding, NONE OF THE ABOVE MATTERED, ONLY THAT YOU RODE.

The kids who ask, "can you tailwhip? can you backflip? are you sponsored? So. Fucking. Annoying

Dude, that last point! Went to ollie's skatepark in Florence, KY and within 5 minutes some annoying kid says "Nice bike man, I like it! Will you sell it to me?" Jesus that just about made me throw the bike at him.

I absolutely fucking hate when kids think they can do shit you can't and say "I just did this, you should try it, can you do it? I've never seen you do it"

The day you decided not to wear knee pads because you got lazy then actually eat shit when you ride and hit your knee.
Feel so good/stoked about riding, then on the first "easy" trick you do, you eat shit/get hurt and it sets the tone for the rest of the session.
Right before you jump to a rail/ledge, you suddenly recall seeing a nice pair of tits(i had to sit down for a while to calm my boner down).

I hear ya, I was riding near my home a month or so ago and some dingus was riding by on a haggard mirraco with his two homies on walmart MTBs and he asked if I would trade him. Now my setup is pretty dialed by my standards, and this kids bike was the lowest end Mirraco possible, grinding and popping and just shitty. I assume he was joking, but he looked sincere hoping I would just be like "Yea, sure, sounds good. here ya go".

Honestly I don't understand how kids can think that is ok to do! Like his bike was MAYBE 300 bucks, and mine is easily 1200 plus AND IT SHOWS that there is a difference.

Biggest pet peeve would have to be that it seems that nobody rides for fun anymore. My buddies and I use it as an excuse to hang out but everywhere we go it's all about who can do what. Takes away the fun of it.

Kids who bash on my riding piss me off.

I was at the park cruising some bowls and just having, not really doing any big tricks or anything, and these kids started talking about how I sucked and all this shit behind my back. A few weeks later one of them was trying 360s and offered to give him some tips and he was like "what? You cant 360." So I 360d and I swear this kids jaw dropped off his face. He asked if I could barspin and I told him that i try them but dont land them and demonstrated. Later his friends came to the park and I heard him telling them how good I was and they were like "noo way he cant even 180 blabla."
Apparently because I dont always choose to do tricks, I dont know how to do tricks.



I also hate compulsive liars and people that just have no clue what they're talking about.

One of my old friends used to tell us how he was sponsored by Monster and Profile and all this shit when he was 11 but then he broke his knee and lost all his skill. He also owned a pair of Odyssey G.I. forks and told us somebody offered him $8,000 for them and he turned them down because theyre "OG" and "worth way more than that." I cant forget about when he told us Aaron Ross bought his other house in Miami for a friend for $1,000,000.

Then theres always some little pricks that think they know everything but really know nothing. There was some kid at a skatepark with a bunch of stock parts from different bikes all thrown together and tried convincing me it was a $1,600 bike. He talked about it like he knew everything. "The low psi tires are stronger because they dont blow out as easily" "the 6061 sprocket is stronger than a 7075 sprocket because 6061 is a form of steel and 7075 is titanium which is bad for bikes" "8spline is the best because the bigger splines are harder to strip" "pinned seem rims are stronger because the rim welds are super brittle so they dont heat treat them" "frontload stems are stronger because you dont have your weight ontop of the stem", blablabla. All his friends on mongooses believed every word he said too lol

The people that think you constantly need to be trying new tricks to have fun. I haven't learned a new trick in forever... I just enjoy going fast and flowing around. To go along with that, people who think the only way to have fun is their way.

One thing that bugs me is when some random kid comes up and asks "do you have tools?" instead of asking for a specific tool.

Then what bugs me even more is seeing kids not know how to properly use my tools.
I have since learned my lesson and even though it may not be the nicest thing, I generally won't let any random people use my tools. If they really need them then I will assist them with their issue so I'm the one actually using the tools.

People (friends) who I let use my tools and leave my tool bag wide open with all my stuff laying around and didn't put a damn thing back where it belongs. I dont allow people to use my tools anymore.

I think what pisses me off the most is when kids tell me to do a trick and I do it perfectly and then they tell me to do another trick and I put my foot down or loop out of almost fall or something and they laugh in my face.

Other than that, I hate when people hate on helmets, when kids ask stupid questions such as (I swear to God an 11 year old kid asked me this the other day) "Did you have to practice those tricks or did you just instantly get them?" I also hate when people automatically associate smoking pot and BMX. The other day this girl that goes to my school said to me "A lot of BMX bikers smoke weed. That'll be you someday." I was blown away from her lack of intelligence.

I also hate helmet haters.

I once looped out at my local park and slammed my head super hard. Had no idea where I was or how I got there. Been wearing a helmet at every park ever since. At the parks where its not required, I never stop getting an earful of how im gay and a pussy for wearing my helmet.

I never really get helmet hate. One time some kid called me a pegless bitch and made fun of my brakes. But he literally talks shit to everyone.
