If you are going to be grinding concrete, then the plastic is gonna be worn down very quickly.
Wax everything and you'll be fine. Stock up on sleeves also.
FREE not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes
STYLE a particular, distinctive, or characteristic mode of action or manner of acting
Or just be a man and get steel pegs and pedal fast
Honestly? Who gives a shit. Its the fucking internet. I hate all of you equally.

I run Éclat Venom pegs and I don't really notice much because I barely rode metals before I learned grinds good on plastics , but I barely worry about peg chinks on rough concrete or bricks and aluminum rails or ledges without coping . Also , they're quiet . They do wear but just rotate them good .

Metal pegs are great for rails and skatepark ledges, but pedalling fast won't help you Smith a rough ledge without falling on your face
I run plastics because they make street riding more easy, and more quiet so you don't get kicked out as fast
