So I'm thinking about trying some out. What are some good brands and some to stay away from just wanting to know before buying some and not likeing them

Walmart has some by Mongoose. They feel decent and they're only 15 bucks. You could check that out.

My plegs are still going. Just picked up a pair of Primo alloys with sleeves so we shall see how those hold up on monday.

Wizard sleeves
Pleg 2

I'm a punk bmxer, I can't do it well so I do it loud.

I'd go fit OG and Wizard sleeves, if you end up not liking the sleeves you still have some nice metal pegs to last you a good while.

Eclat venom will be out in a few weeks, I've been using the eclat nathan peg which uses the same compound I really like them, they're smooth, fast and seem really durable as long as you ain't grinding real rough ledges or brick.

the scott ditchburn slide or die peg look good too.

Freestyle is the answer to everything --
a fresh way to approach a dull or a
dangerous thing.
to do a dull thing with style
is preferable to doing a dangerous thing
without it.

I have the slide or die pegs and their good except I have to rotate the pegs a lot cuz the sleeves are so thin. But their still great pegs

They're basically all either the same or very similar. I don't run pegs ATM but my next pair will be the federal plastic pegs

Honestly? Who gives a shit. Its the fucking internet. I hate all of you equally.

I've seen good things out of Stolen Thermalites and Eclat Nathans. I had wizard sleeves for about 6 months and i liked them. I think im just sticking to metal for now though.

thermalites are fine if you want something cheaper to try but the wear out fast. I have used plegs alot of really like them.

2/27/2014 7:28 AM

I have been running the same
G sport plegs for 2 years still in mint shape I like when you grind cement then just go
No wax required (usually) and it's quiet at the park and any park that bans pegs you can ride em cuz they r plastic smile
