Well I will do another review on my back hub now. I have had 2 primo mixes the first was purple and i had to change up my colors so i just got a black one. Nothing was wrong with the purple one i sold it to some kid and its still rolling. The purple one was 1 and half years old and my black is currently like 3 months old i think.
Axle
The axle is 14mm chromoly and its not too hollow that it becomes scary. I have never replaced an axle. It holds up to my icepicks and of course peg bonks. its just a plain 14mm hollow chromoly axle nothing special except it has a 6mm allen slot at the end for easy maintenance.
Hub Shell
The primo mix does not look like the normal hubs nowadays. The primo mix has a nice classic design with the high flanges which helps to create a stronger wheel and stronger hub shell.
Driver
The driver is one-piece chromoly with 4 pawls and 4 individual springs. With the 4 pawls begin all individual is makes for easy maintenance. Its just a normal driver. The pawls has a tendency to skip every now and them but every hub will skip eventually. With this deign it also creates really good engagement.
Maintenance
The maintenance is very simple for this hub. All you need is a little grease, paper towels,q-tip, 6mm allen wrench and an adjustable wrench.(since i have no idea what size the cone nuts are) When you loosen the cone nut on the driver side then get it off, and when you take out the driver the springs/pawls are not going to fly everywhere. Just clean it out and put in the desired amount of grease, just don't put too much. This should be done every few months depending on riding conditions. (dirt, street, etc.)
Hardware
The hardware is supposed to be steel drive side, and alloy non drive side. I have no idea if this is true, since the bolts feel the same. The bolts are 17mm which is the industry standard and makes its easier, requiring less wrenches to take your bike apart. The only thing i can complain about, is the washer has a tendency to warp when you tighten the bolts a lot, especially on your peg side but its all good. (like 50 cents to replace, if they get too bad). The axle nuts need to be checked every now and then for tightness.
Hub guard
This is the most important thing for this hub if you have pegs. They make specific hub guards just for this hub. There is the Knight which is an alloy hub guard that follows the taper of the non-drive side cone nut. it just sits there on it but when you tighten your wheel down its not going to move. If you get this put a little grease on the cone nut so it doesn't get stuck. You need to rotate it so it does not warp. I am on my second knight hub guard. There is also the BSD Jersey Guard, this guard is 7075 inner and high density plastic outer, it replaces the non-drive side cone nut. Only thing i heard is sometimes it is very hard to get the non-drive cone nut off the hub.

Overall Review
I would give this hub a 9.8/10.

Pros
Cheap
Strong, handle anything that you throw at it
Spins forever
Built to last
Specifically made hub guards with other universal hub guard that will work.
Really easy maintenance
Good driver design/ Good engagement
Peg-Friendly

Cons
You get hated on by weight weenies for the hub begin too heavy, its only 20 oz. Who the fuck cares.
Axle nuts may loosen up
Washer deforms
Non-drive side cone nut hard to get off
May skip

Here is some pictures with the knight hub guard.

Nice review. How often do you have to rotate the Knight hub guard?
