Primo WLT Tire Review

I have had this tire roughly since the beginning of december, on and off. It is a GREAT tire. It is fast, grips well (when dry) and lasts long and prevents most flats.

This tire replaced the Primo Wall tire, for the better. It has a quite nice rubber compound, as the Wall tire did. It slides only when you want it to and it grips when you do. It is a slick style tire and is great for any person who is hard on tires. They arent crazy heavy, and the 2.3 isnt GIGANTIC like the current trend. I run a 2.3 up front and 2.15 in the back and it is great. I love the feel of them, and that is saying something because i usually switch my tires constantly.

There isnt anything i would change. They go on easy and look pretty good. They even grip fine in dirt. The price is hard to beat at 22 US Dollars Per Tire. Go out and buy a pair if you want a long lasting great all around slick tire.

10/10

P.S. Stocksy hates his Primo tires for no apparent reason. He claims that they lose air, when mine never have. It is an issue of tubes, not tires.

I have had these for a similar length of time. They were AMAZING at first but once they lost the micro-tread they became somewhat crappy. Still the single best tires ive ever rode on park, but not so much for street anymore. Theyre not horrible, but they slip out a little more than im comfortable with. Im guessing because theyre slick (ish) tires.

I guess once you go 2.25 FAF you never go back haha.

Grabbing a set of 2.25 FAF-Ks when I can afford them.

Had one up front for a couple hours, got shred open by some nails when I was riding home from the skate park. Best four hours of my life.

That's what happens if you are extremely unlucky i guess. I run over all sorts of ghetto stuff and they hold up great. Idk what kind of nails they are, but they did not like you. hahaha

Sounds to me like you should watch where you ride a little more. haha My MTT is a beast. Too damn big tho, no point for that. Thing is pretty tough but i dont really like the size. I wish i had the 2.1 version.

I have this tire and I am unhappy with it! Maybe it's just me but I am not happy with my Primo tires. I thought they were going to be much better than they actually are.

They are pure and simple and don't have any problems haha They only slide when they are brand new and it is wet.

I'm switching tires. The mtt sucks on concrete and relates to a lot of cement eating.

Good deal, the Primo wall was OK at best, if you didn't have to remove it. The bead crapped out on the Wall ALL THE TIME.
