Hey guys I just put on my new primo freemix and for some reason my cranks spin both ways... It just doesn't engage, could I have my axle lock nut too tight? I had to put the one on that came with the non drive side hub guard

taking it apart then putting it back together is your best bet. the reason its not engaging is because the clutch and driver arent threading sooo maybe the clutch is facing the wrong way?

This.

Also email Primo and let them know.

IF you take things apart, put them in the order you removed them on a paper towel or something, this way you can then send/post photos of parts in the order the came.

Your springs or spring ball need to have pressure against the clutch or you will never engage.
