I've never run it myself but I've heard it's pretty shitty

Ohhhh shit! How long have you had it? And what other problems have you experienced?
Ive heard horrible things about it but nobody ever has any experience with it. Its always "Oh well I dont like the design so it sucks. Dont get it." Ive never even heard any stories of it having problems outside user error until now.
But ive personally owned two and I owned them each for a year. Reason for my second one is because I wanted to switch to LHD, my first one is still being rode by my friend a year and a half later without any problems except I tried modding the springs which caused them to stop working correctly while he was riding it. But thats user error and a cheap fix. I just sold my second one because I wanted a Gsport Ratchet. Had no problems with it either.

Not the first time I've heard of this happening! Primo are bringing out a V2 soon I believe! Obviously You need to contact Primo about this! Well as long as the Hub was new to You! Express interest in the V.2.

"I'm a litlle concerned that this could happen again! I've heard there will be a V.2 Hub shortly? Is it possible to replace this with a V.2? Thank You"

Add in Your name etc & I would imagine with such a dramatic Failure they would HAVE to replace it!

I second this, sort of.
Primo seems like they would definitely replace this, but I would imagine they would replace it with another Remix since its still in production.
If youre interested in a coaster, maybe try getting a Freemix out of it.
If possible, hold off until they put the Remix v2 on the market and discontinue the v1, then youll have better chances of getting a v2 which is basically going to be a reproduction of the OG Mix but with snap-on guard hardware.
Im afraid theyll just send you a new hubshell or new Remix right now though. Seems like the logical thing to be done.

^ Remix uses the same driver and ratchet ring as the Mix and Match. Mine rarely skipped. Maybe once or twice in the two years that I ran it. The drivers aren't the problem with them.

yeah i put it through hell and yesterday i 270d a hip at our local skatepark and it goes from a tall quarter to a real short quarter and ended up casing and then noticed a broken spoke and after that noticed the crack

i have a friend who rides the original version, the cassette mix or whatever, he got it 2nd hand but it is maybe 4 or 3 years old and it sure has been used. Still runs well
