Okay so I have a Primo remix cassette hub, and I also just got a new united mother ship frame so when I put the wheel on the new frame I noticed that the hub was loose and kinda shaky, so I took it off to tighten it and whenever I tighten it even just a little passed finger tight it barley moves. iv been dealing with the annoying shit for a couple days now so can someone help explain? everythings fine barring's arnt blown, iv taken it apart and greased it, un greased it nothing is working. SO SOME ONE PLEAAASSSEEEEE HELP ME! haha

Long story short...the remix sucks according to everyone who has had it. I have yet to see a positive review on it. I have never owned one personally though. I wanted too but I'm very hesitant now

Did you take it apart before getting the frame? If so, are you positive you put it back together right?

That's kinda weird, but yeah as said above, the Remix hub has a pretty bad rep.

This hub so reminds me of when I ran a Demolition Anorexia hub. That thing was complete shit no matter what you tried to replace on it. I had to put an extra rubber o-ring that all other hub drivers used cause this hub had one built in that sucked dick which didn't allow the driver to have much pressure being able to put on it without it seizing up and grinding the inside of the hub.

From past experience I didn't even bother contacting them, mines still alright after working on it a bunch, and putting allot of 3 and one in there haha

Yeah i regret getting the remix but i have high expectations for the v2 because they made the mix and the pro before and everyone hates the remix so they would probably improve

The remix v2is supposed to have improved shell and bearings. Hopefully they put 4 6902s back in and took out the 6802s and brought the mix shell back

I just got a primo mix v1 hub laced with primo spokes to an alienation rim for 45 bucks, fuckin love it, although i will want to replace the axle since it is a teeny tiny bit bent, here is a video i just uploaded too
