He just scammed me too. Supposed to trade my gsport marmoset and guard for his madera hub and guards. I shipped Tuesday and they got there Thursday according to tracking. He texted Wednesday to say he shipped but no tracking. He hasn't responded to a text since Wednesday. Like fuck at least send me a stock hub for a rip off instead of nothing. Now I'm stuck with my garbage spare wheel and a shitty attitude. Fuck scammers. Fuck Wisconsin. Fuck madera and fuck vital kids! I will fite this fgt irl if I'm ever in Green Bay

Maybe there should be a Seller's Membership THAT COSTS MONEY to participate in with a background check or something. This is exactly why I don't do any deals on here even though there are some good people in the For Sale section.

yeah i agree, have to pay to trade but it will be safer, or just get in contact with those from here you trust, i think it is this riley kid because the picture from his old acc (thanks to sunday) is the same as his fb cover photo, but eh the kid with red shorts looks Photoshoped out. I was giving the benefit of the doubt but this was just sad... also as a note, they must have paypal to participate as well, something to think about.

I agree with this to an extent. I doubt I'd pay to sell/trade but there should be SOME better protection. Like you cant be any newfag who made an account a month ago. But after a certain number of posts/join date/background check of some sort. I've been seeing this way too much. It's always some dildo with the default avatar selling random parts asking you to ship first. It sucks this happened but everyone reading this should pay attention. Will they? No. I mean it's less likely someones gonna spend time posting 4000 or so replies, waiting x amount of months and getting permission to sell just to steal 50 bucks off some kid.
1. DONT ship first/same day to newfags. I don't ship first at all unless its someone i trust. There's TONs of parts that come on these forums weekly. There will be more.
2. Check their posts/threads. If they've done successful deals in the past (USUALLY) they'll be legit.
3. Actually look at the legit list. Even though it hasn't updated in forever.
4. Buy from people you see... Tomdon, Ecuadevil, Tcbmx, Noendinsight, SuperstarDK, Scramhype, Howlerfbm those guys are legit as fuck. Not some new 14 year old kid selling some trendy parts that joined 3 weeks ago. I know we all join at some point and are all new but still.
5. Don't gift money unless you highly trust the person. srs guis its fucking stupid. so are money orders. Pay the two dollar fee it's worth it.
I don't really buy and sell anymore (mostly because I dont have trendy enough parts and dont want to buy anymore) but it's kinda common sense.

Back when I joined there was this thing where if people were going to trade they would both send the items to a mod and once the mod got both of the items then the mod would send them to the people
