Product Review: Stolen Silencers

I'm using the thermalite sleeves on my kink pegs.

They're my first plastics and yeah, they last longer than i expected. but i rarely grind anything that isn't waxed.

One thing i don't like about them is their odd length... 4.25" ?
Hard to find a chromo peg that would fit the dimension, i had to cut mine to 100mm.

So my questions...

Have you tried animal butchers? can you compare against those?
Demolition Dumbchucks?

i'm thinking about fully committing to 4 plastic pegs. not sure which ones.

i ride plastics on my regular grinding side and metal on my oppo side.
Grinding on metal pegs seem more predictable. "Easier" to lock in. i'm a shit grinder but i'm a shittier grinder on my oppo side. lol

I can answer for both you guys. I've ridden slicks sleeves, silencer sleeves and currently on butchers. Slickers are fucking garbage. They wear down way too fast and dont allow for metal on metal contact so one miss and your wheel shifts. Silencers come with washers to allow for metal on metal contact. The washer sits in a gap n the sleeve between the peg/dropout if you buy just the sleeve. Butchers dont but i used washers i found laying around. I sold my silencers and they're still going strong. Imo butchers/silencers are about the same at the top of the plastic peg game. Silencers a tad more cause i took a chunk out a butcher sleeve but that was probably my fault anyway

I've had a set of wizard sleeves and i got 6 months out of them but they were unusable for me at 6 months. although i rode alot less skatepark and waxed street back then.

My one coworker and almost daily riding buddy had the slickers for two weeks when they first came out and neither of us were impressed they slide like shit and cracked. He's currently running Eclat Venom pegs and they have also been impressive minus the chode like look.

4.25" is pretty normal from what im used to.

I bought Eclat Venoms , hopefully they should be pretty good.

I don't even have the money for all this replaceable stuff.. I stick to traditional metal and candles!

My butcher peg is slick as hell and I've never had it slip
I also really like my cult butter peg, chromo core and comes with 2.sleeves

Funny I never had a problem with my slickers. they still going good after 6 months. Maybe they are better for park and light street use

I've had the silencers before and they rode quite well. They lasted as long as any other plastic pegs I've tried.

Im on the venoms right now, had them about 6 weeks, looking good so far....slide nice, dont slip, come with a 10mm / 3/8ths adapter

I've been on 4 Primo Binary v2s for a while now and they are great, basically same thing as the stolens
