For about a month now, every time I do a front peg grind, especially smiths, my front wheel will start to rub. I have a Profile Mini 3/8 in the front laced to an Alienation Deviant, with a Demolition Momentum 2.35 on Fit Shiv 2 forks, so there is barley any room to start. I believe the main problem there was because the 3/8 axle bolts for the hub were starting to get stripped and I couldn't tighten them that well. So today, I bought two 3/8, 16tpi, 1 1/2in hex bolts because using an 8mm allen key was getting annoying, and I wanted to use a socket so I could tighten them down better. My question now is it safe to ride these? I have not tested it yet. I also ride 4 pegs. I just bought them from Home Depot, so how strong are they? As strong as the stock Profile bolts? Also, how screwed am I if they break inside?
