Profile Hub Problem!

For about a month now, every time I do a front peg grind, especially smiths, my front wheel will start to rub. I have a Profile Mini 3/8 in the front laced to an Alienation Deviant, with a Demolition Momentum 2.35 on Fit Shiv 2 forks, so there is barley any room to start. I believe the main problem there was because the 3/8 axle bolts for the hub were starting to get stripped and I couldn't tighten them that well. So today, I bought two 3/8, 16tpi, 1 1/2in hex bolts because using an 8mm allen key was getting annoying, and I wanted to use a socket so I could tighten them down better. My question now is it safe to ride these? I have not tested it yet. I also ride 4 pegs. I just bought them from Home Depot, so how strong are they? As strong as the stock Profile bolts? Also, how screwed am I if they break inside?

Yeah it was, but it shouldn't have been coming loose like that. I'm not really worried about that now though because I bought the new bolts, now i'm just wondering if I can ride them.

a friend of mine did the same thing with buying new bolts from home depot, they lasted for him but idk how much I'd trust it unless it specifically said what grade of metal it was and stuff

They should be fine. Grade 8 bolts are always the best option but anything will do.

I've heard shadow bolts work on there. Not sure though..

I rushed when I was there and I forgot to check the grade, it doesn't have any markings, just the Home Depot code, so it might be a grade 2. I might just have to go back and check.

I think i'm going to go to Ace Hardware, instead of Home Depot because I have heard they are a lot better with screws and bolts. I am going to make sure I pick up a grade 8 bolt this time, so I just wanted to rephrase my question. Will the grade 8 bolt be strong enough? Is it as strong as the stock profile? Does anyone else do this?
