I was looking to invest in a new back wheel cuz the one i have now is on it's way out. I was wondering if that was a good combo? i ride dirt jumps and bowls and a little street. similar to tom dugan. Money isn't an issue so if you have a better combo i would love to hear it. i also have a 28 tooth sprocket if that helps. I don't know much about parts cuz im kinda new to this. I just noticed that ALOT of people have the profile hub.

Personally i would look into Eclat wheels. The Profile will more than likely be fine for the type of riding you say you do, but you could get say an Eclat Polar Rim laced to a Dynamic Cassette. It has those super duper engagement dealys you get on the Profile Elite cassette for a shit load cheaper & personally i think they would be stronger!

I've ridden both the ratchet and the profile, I prefer the profile, the ratchet felt over-done and somehow I broke it riding pegless.

I haven't got any good ones, I e-mailed the distro and apparently it was common for the helicoil to strip out on the earlier models, they offered me a new discounted axle but I swapped the hub for the profile. I've still got the helicoil if you'd really want to see that?
