My push is a bitch to get off. Anyones else do that or did i fock sheet up?
I just get a flat head screwdriver and open up the stem clamp alittle and get it off that way or you can just hammer it off by wrapping it with a towel and hitting if off with a rubber mallet

I do that screw driver thing everytime. Its just chewing my stem up little by little. But thats cool. I just wanted to make sure mine wasnt like warped or something.
take stem bolts out.
insert bolt from opposite side, thread into stem.
place a washer, quarter, etc between the slot on the back.
tighten bolt against washer.
stem will expand, allowing you to easily slide it on/off.

I think he means that you should take out your bolts, then put something in between the calming area. The thing you use will push away from the bolt that is trying to thread. Which pushes the clamping area apart. Instead of using a screwdriver and marking up the stems surface.
Now do you get it? Haha

Sounds like user error to me.
I have that stem and have not had a single issue.
It's never slipped, bolts come off easy, etc.
Actually one problem I have seen with stems in general is people over tighten the bolts which actually adds threading to the face plate, which makes the bolts super hard to take off (and of course this isn't the stem's fault, it's solely user error).
I bought a stem off someone on here a while back and he had done exactly what I said above and what I had to do to fix it is use a drill bit on the face plate.
I bought it to replace my old push form some guy locally. He was one of the riders at my local parkn It was pretty clean and stuff. But ever since ive had it it has always been hard to put on. The face plate for the bars is perfect. Im talking about the back peice. Its like a little small and i have to fight the thing to get it on.
But once i have it on. My bars and stem are like solid. like one. theyve never slipped or moved.

Oh okay the steerer tube clamp?
Did you grease your steerer tube and stem in that area?

Strange, it might have to do with varying manufacturer tolerances on the stem and the steerer tube.
Even if that isn't the case though I wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
The only problem I've ever had with profile stems is there bolts snapping whilst undoing them lol. I think they had a run of shitty bolts cause I snapped bolts on two which were brought around the same time then they warrantied the jolts and I haven't had trouble since. Don't understand why yours is like that
Idk. but profile is losing my respect fast. killed two rear hubs now this damn stem is being stupid. idk. man
Ehh yeah, do what the guy said above, it works great. I have never had this problem. I have the Madera Mast and it is made by profile and i havent had a single problem, best stem ever made! Haha its super good, it isnt profiles fault, sometimes stuff doesnt go well, but theyd warranty it i bet. if you cant fix it of course.
