I've gone through real pain because of chain issues in the past, realllly bad one time, and ever since I've ridden my chains a bit loose and stuck with KMC 410 and 510 series chains because I'm able to afford swapping them out frequently enough that I always feel I have a new-ish chain on the bike, have never had an issue since.

My only reservations are that I'm seeing the 410 and 510 seem to be on the weaker end of the spectrum, should that be a concern? I'm not a heavy rider but I'm strong and put a ton of stress on my chain.. Am also the type that really loves a tight bike, and the one part that's never to my liking is the chain being kept a little loose, but I never pull that rear wheel any further back because I'm afraid of putting any stress on the chain!

Any thoughts/tips on this would be great, I don't know if I could/should approach this differently or just keep-on the way I've been doing. I intend to go LHD at some point to reduce nailing the chain, but that's not in the cards just yet.

Your first priority to worry about is grinding. If you grind on your drive side naturally, it's really inevitable to not grind on the chain without having a drive side guard or switching the drivetrain side. The Daily Grind drive side guard is going to be 100% perfect if you want to keep grinding on your drive side. Obviously, the smarter choice would be to switch your drivetrain, but I could understand your situation if it has to do with budget. As for the issue on chain strength, if you're that paranoid, I'd go no less than 510 quality chains. 510 material is already pretty beefy imo, and the KMC 510HX would do you a lot of good. If all else fails, then go to the Wipperman or Shadow Interlock Supreme or something totally bombproof. It'll weigh a ton, but it gets the job done with guaranteed durability.
