I have an 2008 Hoffman bama. 20.5"
This kid locally wants to trade a kink gap XL 2013 21"
I do love the bama because of how sturdy that fucker is, but I want a newer frame. The TT is a half inch longer on the kink so im pretty happy about that. Cant wait to build it up and ride that fucker. Do you guys think this is a good trade though?

The Gap is a complete frame. Nothing special.

Your Bama is full Chromoly.
You are upgrading in year, and that's about it.

I wouldn't. If the chainstays are hi-ten, you could bend them. It's one thing if the seatstays are, but you don't want your back end all out of whack. Just build up the Bama

Thing is im not a crazy hard rider. I am like 200 pounds and 6'0 which is why wanted the longer frame in the first place. I dont want hitensile though so I'll stick with my bama. Thanks guys.
