I have always wondered if there is a difference between a stock chromoly frame and an aftermarket chromoly frame. I currently have a stock Kink Liberty Sexton 2015 frame and it is full chromoly, but I want to know if it is weaker than an after market frame. (aftermarket version of my frame for example). So can a stock frame be as strong or stronger than an aftermarket frame?

I think that they should be the same.

If not, what a rip off!

Ask Kink.

It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

I would say MAYBE based on where it is made, like FBM, they have aftermarket complete frames that are made overseas, and they have aftermarket frames made in USA.

I think the stock frames they just manufacture more in bulk with less attention to detail. I ride a stock Benny L frame (aftermarket version is slightly different and USA made) and the welds look great and it's solid as hell so I think it depends on how good the company's quality control is on their stock items.

An aftermarket frame will have all the extra features like heat treatment and potentially other things like invest cast parts, integrated chain tensioners and details that you may not get on a complete frame.

Another big difference is the warranty. Companies always have a much better warranty on an aftermarket frame vs. a complete bike and this is part of what you are paying for when you buy a new frame.

Your frame looks like a 2013 Fit complete by the way. You could narrow it down by measuring the top tube and that would give you a good idea what level it is by comparing what was available that year.
