Okay. So I've been rawing alot of my spare parts lately. I'm about to raw some old bars.
And then I had this idea...
I've also been doing a lot of sort of artwork on stuff like my helmets and an old seat.
So why cant i raw those bars, add one thin coat of clearcoat, use a thick sharpie for that artwork, draw it on, and add another few layers of clearcoat?
I don't have any paintpens. But that should work, to seal in the marker and protect my bars, right?
Please let me know how you think this would turn out.

Wouldn't you clear coat over the paint?

I think that'd be fine, but after you sharpie your design, add two thin layers of clear coat instead of one, maybe even 3.
I use an airbrush to do my designs, then add 4 thin layers of clear coat.

Haha I just sand blasted my cranks today, not sure if I'm going to do any designs or leave em raw but yeah.

Damn sounds nice. I don't have the means for sandblasting but I rawed these two days ago and clear coated em yesterday. Just some cheap stock cranks. They're kinda heavy but incredibly strong for stock cranks, although the left size bolt seized up so now it's a two piece crank, lol

i didnt, i put tape in/on all the treads and shit, so the clearcoat doesnt clog up the threads.
