uh. that's quite a range, dude. this including rim and spokes or just for the hub alone? and do you have a preference in terms of engagement, female/male, weight? i'm assuming you're looking for a cassette rather than a freecoaster?

Well I'm not really sure because I just started this year so I don't know what I should be getting I just don't want to get something that's too expensive because this is my first year so I don't wanna put to much money into it when I'm probably going to get a new bike in a year or 2

This. It's a great hub and 48H to add to that. Pretty cheap too. Strong as fuck too. Love mine

Why don't you get good parts and keep them rather than buy a whole new biek

Buying a new bike just cuz something broke is just as bad as returning a bike you ran for a whole summer and exchanging it at walmart for a new sparkly one....

Sorry work related rants. they let customers get away with that shit i hate it.

Hub: http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS/426040/BSD_Back_Street_FA_Cassette_Hub.html
Rim: http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS/422045/G-Sport_Ribcage_Rim.html
Spokes: http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS/435910/Sapim_Black_14G_Spoke.html

This wheel will last you till your teeth and your kid's teeth fall out, and comes in around $250+$15(ish) with some nice Sapim spokes, which was under your budget for the hub alone. Dan's can build it for you for free if you order the whole setup from them.

If that seems like overkill, we can find something cheaper, but if you're planning on sticking with BMX till the end, this is it, cuz there's nothing worse than paying for something twice after it breaks.
