I'm thinking about getting a new stem for my bike, and have been looking at this one.

It looks knee friendly. I'd probably run it flipped 50mm
The fork pinch bolts are in a more accessible spot then my alienation iron maiden stem which is why I'm thinking of switching out.

What do you think.

Why don't you just get a top load?

I have ran a flipped frontload stem for like 20 years.
Why don't companies stop making frontloads upside down. You'd think they'd figure it out by now.

I don't like the way toploads look for the most part. Thats not the only stem I have looked at. Box makes a pretty cool looking topload but the bar clamping srea is too big.

You should make the switch to a flipped frontload, because thats what I run. Then you can help convince these idiot manufacturers to stop making them upside down.

You can get a Minimal rise top load stem like the éclat Nathan, the merrit Justin care stem, or a tree Timmy stem

I could...
Just like i can get a front load stem and flip it.
Let me refine my question.

What do you think about the fork clamp bolt position.

Usually the bolts go across the forks either in front or back.

These do it at an angle, which is pretty damn different

I think toploads are FUGLY. So no, no topload
