Falling hurts regardless. Your bike hitting you is the same on your cushy mattress as it is on the concrete.

The problem I see with that stuff, it will absorb all of the energy needed to do good stunts, so it would be difficult and a PIA to do anything on.
At least the way they have it laid over the halfpipe with it not fully touching the bottom.

Never ridden a resi but I've got to session a REALLY nice foam pit quite a few times. It was alright. Everyone says "Oh I am definitely trying a triple flip whip 900 into that! It's just foam." But they get there and half of the people that said that are too afraid to even try a simple flip. It's different. I prefer just trying tricks in grass or something because as soon as you land in the foam, you come to a complete stop and you either just stay still on your bike or your momentum carries you and you fly off the bike OTB or something like that.

Resi is pretty nice. The one I ride most of the time is fairly hard but the nice thing is that you can slide on it nicely. I've looked at that website a bit too and i think it's pretty expensive material.

Try contacting the Twin Cities Fantasy Factory and asking them.

www.ridetcff.org

They have resi and foam at their setup and could advise you well.
